Iberian Icon of the Mother of God Convent

The Iberian Icon of the Mother of God Convent stands in the Yuzefin tract near the village of Hlynne in Rokytne district, Rivne region, as part of the Sarny eparchy. The community was established in 1997¹.

In 1998 the community assembled 2 residential houses relocated from neighbouring villages, and work was under way to complete the church bell tower¹.

By 2003 the monastery had a wooden church of the Iberian Icon of the Mother of God, a cell building and the hegumenia's house; in 2003-2006 a refectory was built¹.

The community belongs to the Rokytne deanery of the Sarny eparchy. In 2013 and 2016 the ruling bishop, Metropolitan Anatolii of Sarny and Polissya, paid archpastoral visits to the monastery: he served a thanksgiving and a festal moleben and preached to the sisters on the meaning of monastic struggle and prayer^{2, 3}.

The monastery has its own cemetery, where Metropolitan Anatolii has several times performed a memorial litia for the community's deceased sisters - in September 2016, February 2017 and October 2020^{4, 5, 6}.
