History:
St. Sergius of Radonezh's Convent stands in the town of Bila Tserkva in the Kyiv region, in the Bila Tserkva Diocese. It was established by a decision of the Holy Synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church at its session of 6 December 2019, Journal No. 311, 4. This community became the 255th monastic house established in the Ukrainian Orthodox Church3.
On 17 January 2023, at this monastery, Metropolitan Avhustyn of Bila Tserkva and Bohuslav performed the monastic tonsure of Halyna Fadieieva, head of the diocesan department "Church and Culture," who received the name Havryila in monasticism2.
