Pochaev Icon of the Mother of God stauropegial female skete

The skete of the Pochaiv Icon of the Mother of God is a women's house in the town of Ladyzhyn in the Vinnytsia region³. It is not an independent monastery: both the skete's own site and the synodal act that opened it call it a skete of the Holy Trinity stauropegial Convent in Nemyriv^{1, 3}.

The house in Nemyriv, of which the skete is a division, is itself stauropegial: on 9 February 2006 the Holy Synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church granted it the status of a stauropegial monastery in direct subordination to the Metropolitan of Kyiv and All Ukraine². The skete's own site assigns it to the Kyiv eparchy, although the house stands in the Vinnytsia region³.

The skete was opened by a decision of the Holy Synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Journal No. 60 of the session of 20 July 2012, held under the chairmanship of His Beatitude Volodymyr, Metropolitan of Kyiv and All Ukraine, records his report on the opening in the town of Ladyzhyn in the Vinnytsia region of a skete of the Holy Trinity stauropegial Convent of the town of Nemyriv, and the Synod resolved to bless that opening¹.
