History:
The men's monastery of the Pochaiv Icon of the Mother of God stands in the settlement of Chynadiyevo in Zakarpattya, in the Mukachevo eparchy1. It arose in 2003 at an already-existing parish church of the same dedication2. On 19 June 2014 the Holy Synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, by journal no. 9, blessed the adoption and registration of the monastery's statute in a new redaction4.
In that same year, 2003, a chapel of St. Nicholas of Myra and a fraternal building were built at the monastery2.
The monastery's patronal feasts are the Pochaiv Icon of the Mother of God and St. Nicholas of Myra3.
