Nativity of St. John the Forerunner male skete

The Nativity of St. John the Forerunner male skete of the Izyum eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church stands in the village of Ivanivka in the Izyum area. It is a skete of the Pisky Icon of the Mother of God Monastery in Izyum1.
The monastery itself is a young institution: on 1 April 2015 the Holy Synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church blessed the establishment in Izyum of a monastery of men in honour of the Pisky Icon of the Mother of God, and its community had been formed earlier, on 5 October 20142, 3.
On 11 September 2023, the feast of the Beheading of St. John the Forerunner, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated in the skete's church by Bishop Ioann of Izyum and Kupiansk, concelebrated by clergy of the eparchy and of the monastery4.
On 7 July 2025, the skete's own patronal feast - the Nativity of St. John the Forerunner - the same bishop again celebrated the Divine Liturgy there, and at its conclusion congratulated the brethren and parishioners on the feast and gave his archpastoral blessing5.
