St. Elijah's male skete

St. Elijah's male skete stands in the settlement of Dubove, in the Tyachiv district of Zakarpattya region, within the Hust eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

The skete is a canonical division of Hrusheve St. Michael the Archangel's Monastery, in Hrusheve Village, Zakarpattya Region¹.

Every year on 10 December, the feast of the Icon of the Mother of God known as "the Sign", a festal hierarchical Divine Liturgy is celebrated at the skete: in 2022, 2023 and 2024 it was led by Mark, Metropolitan of Hust and Vynohradiv and ruling bishop of Hust eparchy^{2, 3, 4}.

In 2022 Bishop Symeon of Uholka concelebrated with Vladyka Mark², and in 2024 the clergy, the skete's brethren and numerous believers were present at the Liturgy⁴.

On 10 December 2025, on the same feast of "the Sign", the consecration of the church's altar was performed at the skete: with Metropolitan Mark's blessing, the rite of consecration and the festal Liturgy were led by vicar-bishop Archbishop Symeon of Uholka, concelebrated by Bishop Mark of Rakhiv and the diocesan clergy; those present included the skete's brethren and numerous parishioners⁵.
