St. Olga the-Equal-to-the-Apostles' Convent

The Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Grand Princess Olga Convent of the Kyiv eparchy stands in the village of Tomashivka, Fastiv district, Kyiv region.
On 19 April 2016, at a session of the Holy Synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufriy of Kyiv and All Ukraine reported on the establishment, in that village, of a convent in honour of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Grand Princess Olga of the Kyiv eparchy; by Journal No. 16 the Synod blessed the establishment of the house and the acceptance and registration of its Statute1.
The annual report of the administrator of affairs of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church for 2016 and a separate publication of the same day independently confirm this act with the same journal number and date; according to them, that year the Synod's decisions established three monasteries in Ukraine - one for men and two for women2, 3.
