History:
St. Panteleimon's male metochion stands in the city of Chernivtsi. It is a metochion of the St. Nicholas Men's Monastery "Halytsia" - a house in the village of Neporotove (the Halytsia hamlet), in the Chernivtsi region1.
The monastery's brotherhood organized the metochion on the grounds of Chernivtsi City Hospital No. 33. In 2009 a site was consecrated in Chernivtsi for the construction of a chapel in honour of Saint Panteleimon the Great Martyr2, and in 2011 the brotherhood built a church there in honour of the same saint3.
