Church of St. Luke of Crimea (Vinnytsia)

The Church of St Luke of Crimea stands in Vinnytsia, on Khmelnytske Highway, in the woodland park belt near the Vyshenka medical campus^{1, 3}. The community belongs to the Vinnytsia eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church: the eparchy keeps a separate page for this church, giving its address, its patronal feast and its contacts¹. The patronal feast is kept here on 11 June¹.

The parish keeps a broad site of its own. Beside the usual sections about the church and its history there are separate pages on the shrines of the church and its holy relics, on the life of St Luke and on the akathist to him, a Sunday school, a form for commemoration notes and requests, and a section through which a layman may put a question to a priest². On the site the community runs several standing headings - the Sunday sermon, events of church life, edifying readings².

The parish broadcasts its services on a video channel of its own, opened on 14 March 2012³. The home page of the site holds an embedded player set straight to that channel, so the live broadcast can be watched without leaving the site². The recordings on the channel keep to the daily round of parish worship - the morning Divine Liturgy and the evening service - and on feasts memorial services and the blessing of water are added to them³. The captions and descriptions of the broadcasts the community writes in Ukrainian, and over the years an archive of several thousand recordings has gathered on the channel³.
